A Day walking the streets of Paris
-

Red.. what an amazing colour!
Inside Château de Voisins, France. -

Part of the grounds around Château de Voisins, France -

A lovely mechanic’s workshop
-

That spring sunshine,
The feeling of warmth eroding the winter,
The light,
Upon new leaves. -

-

Looking up at the majestic circular shape of the Bodleian Library. -

Another ceiling.. another example of Gothic splendour, they did some things very well.. -

Christ Church College, Oxford University. An amazing institution full of history. -

The Grand Dining Room.
Or, at least, a part of.
With a wonky lamp. -

Through the glass in stone,
Lordly,
Awaiting,
Observing -

Love the long shadows and the fact they are the first thing you notice before connecting them to the actual people that create them -

A ruin.
Now a place of interest. Somewhere to investigate, to hang out. To Escape.
-

The carved timber ceiling of 15th Century St. Donats, Wales. -

Within and among. The intricate details.. dried and rotting wood.
Reverse mounted 50mm -

I like the light in this photo. Its soft, graceful. Shadows not too harsh, but bring out interest. It ‘feels’ nice. -

There is always something wonderful about stations. A mid point, beginning or end of someone’s journey. Always interesting moments to be had.
I like the light and motion upon the man walking on the left, and the silhouette of the man on the right.
