The Streets
October 10, 2019
The street of Borgo Medievale, Turin
It was built t host the Ancient Art section of the 1884 Turin Exhibition.
A recreation of many famous Italian castles and locations.
The buildings and the decorations are faithful copies of 15th century castles.
They feature many painted plaster walls typical of the period.
Various openings into the buildings have been turned into shops and other museum exhibits.
Painstaking recreated. It is almost a film set, but one built to last.
Looking into a glass facade underneath the arches.
